Be it speed, racing or freeride, with the SHOX.XTR you can finally appoint on a dead downwind course without fearing any control problems. Makes every rider 1-2 knots faster, immediately.In the waves, firstly the SHOX.XTR dampens landings and delivers a new level of board control when going down-the-line.Supports the pop in Freestyling by the rebound. In addition the damping improves reception on landings. Thanks to a level adjuster the travel can be varied between 60 and 80mm, with longer travel for tougher conditions and higher waves. Of course we have integrated the POWER.XTR ratchet mechanism for SDM as well as RDM masts. And all of this is achieved with only 150g of additional weight compared to a standard Power.XT extension.

| Hi guys, In the meantime I have received another great feedback on the Shox.XTR from Ant Baker (most of you will remember him being top 10 in PWA Slalom back in the days – so not really a nobody): “Hi Raoul, Just spoke to Ant in Dahab and he would like some money for his phone bill as he spent a lot on it telling me how good the new Shox extension is ;-). He really seems very impressed with it to the point Dave White (Board UK mag chief editor) came on the phone jokingly saying he is sending him home as he has not stopped going on about how good it is. this is good to hear from him as he was not overly confident about it before hand. This is making me smile. The boards guys will do a proper back to back same sail, board etc test in the next few days. Cheers Nik Baker” ------ The Shox.XTR is available since 2 weeks. Here is the first feedback we have already received from South African end consumers and national racers: “Hi Olaf Thank you for allowing me to try out the North "Shock absorber" windsurfer extension. At first I thought it was a toy and I had no real interest in it. Suddenly for the first time in my life I was going faster than people who have for years been faster than me. I had more control and with that my confidence grew. I particularly enjoyed it when beating into chop and it kind of reminded me of when I first added shocks to my mountain bike. I honestly think its a great concept and definitely not a toy. However to convince someone there is really no alternative but to let them try it for themselves. I definitely want one. And it gives superb confidence on the down wind.
